Ace Comedian and one of the top names when it comes to the Indian television scenes, Kapil Sharma has been a comedian par excellence when it comes to captivating the masses.
What sets this man apart from several other comedians of the modern age is his keen eye and his observations which help him hit all the right spots with the audiences.
Kapil Sharma was in the news lately as his hit show, ‘comedy nights with Kapil’ was taken off the air. He has however, bounced back, and returned to television with his new show – ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
With regards to his old show ending, Kapil had no regrets as he expected newer and better things are now on their way and he can now do some new things and pull off some new jokes with this new show of his.
With this new show, we are all set to meet new characters, new jokes and new jokes. Kapil Sharma is all set for a new start, and is ambitiously looking forward towards bigger and better things in the future.
The popular comedian has been making the news over his new show and has now commented that he wishes even politicians would be a part of his show.
In India, the politicians are often the butt of many jokes, and while it is unlikely that Kapil has any plans to ‘roast’ the politicians on his show, having a political involvement is expected to give his show a greater viewership, as well as make television comedy more mainstream.
“I wish to have Mr Narendra Modi on our new show (‘The Kapil Sharma show’). I was watching television recently and saw Mr Barack Obama on Ellen’s show (on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’) and it is great. We should also have politicians connecting to people,” Kapil said in an interview.
According to Kapil, having the Prime Minister on his show would be more than just a comic act, as it would be a heartfelt conversation with the teaseller who went on to become the Prime Minister of the nation.
“If we have Mr Modi on the show we will not talk about politics, party and all. I would love to know how a man from a small town has come this far and became the PM of our country. It’s an inspirational story. I will try to talk to him,” he said.
