With his movies working really well in the markets across the globe, SRK is now working on his next project, ‘fan’, where he plays a Shah Rukh Khan fan.
The movie is a one of a kind film, the likes of which have never been shot before in our country. SRK has now been working on a very interesting marketing strategy on the promotion of this movie.
The ‘fan anthem’ which released earlier, is now being released in local languages and dialects, and SRK has been actively tweeting about the people he is a ‘fan’ of.
SRK has revealed in tweets and songs that he is a fan of Mahatma Gandhi, Sachin Tendulkar, Rajnikant and the city of Kolkata itself, tapping all the four regional zones of India.
The Gujarati version of the fan anthem has been performed by ArvindVegda, where Mahatma Gandhi is given a tribute.
The Bengali version of the fan anthem has been performed by Anupam Roy, and SRK has Tweeted saying, “City of joy, city of KKR & the city that still has the old world charm. Kolkata, aamitomakebhalobashi! Ur fan.”
Avadhoot Gupte has sung the Marathi version of the fan anthem, where SRK has Tweeted saying ‘Umpire kuchbhikahe, mere liyetoh u wil always b not-out! I am ur Fan. Jai Maharashtra! ”
SRK expressed his love for iconic megastar Rajnikanth in the Tamil version of the fan anthem, SRK tweeted saying “Rajni Sir, I’m not a star, but just one of your countless fans Thalaiva @superstarrajini. Proud to be your fan! ”. SRK had earlier paid tribute to Rajnikanth in the movie Chennai Express. Nakash Aziz has performed the Tamil version of the song.
“Khaikepaanbanaraswala, sunoab @ManojTiwariMPke voice mein Fan kagaana!” said SRK on the Bhojpuri fan anthem.
SRK and Yash Chopra shared a special bond, and the death of Yash Chopra had grieved many of his fans, one of them happens to be SRK himself, as SRK paid tribute to the legendary director, saying, “Yashji, no one has shown the purity of Punjabi culture like you did. This one’s for you. I’m your eternal fan!” The Punjabi version titled ‘ghaint fan’ has been sung by Harbhajan Mann.
