Ankit Fadia is the biggest gossip of the hour who is known as an “ethical hacker”. Fadia has self-proclaimed that Indian Government has appointed him as one of the brand ambassadors of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India initiative.
Though he can be hated or loved, but can’t be unnoticed. The guy, on the Facebook page has posted a photo of a certificate that is issued by the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, thereby stating him the brand ambassador for the Digital India initiative. The certificate is dated on July 1st, 2015.
Fadia also wrote “Humbled and honoured to be appointed as one of the Brand Ambassadors to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India initiative,” in his Facebook post on his official page. He even shared few images of a certain occasion, where he received the certificate, that too for a term of one year.
On one hand, our PM, Mr Modi’s Digital India initiative has been gaining a large impetus in the Silicon Valley, but it looks quite peculiar why the hacker has chosen to be announced now as the certificate is issued more than two months ago. Prime Minister Modi on his US tour has represented the Digital India to high dignitaries of Silicon Valley including the CEO’s of Google’s Sundar Pichai, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Apple’s Tim Cook.
Fadia came into limelight at a very young age of 17, when he apparently hacked a very popular computer and communications magazine’s website, Chip. He also wrote books and launched certification programmes in his name. However, he has come under severe criticism, over the years and several incidences are there where he has been trashed by his critics and magazines.
Now again, his self-proclaimed appointment of the brand ambassador hasn’t been received well by the people and several comments from Twitter claim that. Mostly people are seen teasing and mocking the appointment due to his infamous past.
