The production team of upcoming movie Puli apparently tweeted about the delay of the Tamil movie release which is now scheduled to be released on 1st October, 2015 instead of 17th September, 2015 due to delay in computer graphics work. The movie will be released in Telugu along with a Hindi version as well.

Puli (which means Tiger), is written and directed by Chimbu Deven and is a fantasy adventure film. The movie stars Prabhu, Nandita Shweta, Vijayakumar,Thambi Ramaiah, Aadhukalam Naren, Imman Annachi  and includes Hansika Motwani, Sridevi, Sudeep and as the pre-eminent characters. Vijay plays the protagonist in a dual role.

The film has Natarajan Subramaniam’s cinematography. Devi Sri Prasad’s background score & music add spark to this film which is like the classic tale of the victory of good over darkness. Puli is edited by Sreekar Prasad.

The trend for south Indian films is making a huge impact in the theatres all over India.

Sridevi’s return after a span of three years is a much celebrated one this time as a Queen of a kingdom set in 1500 BC and Sudheep is her insurgent commander. Everyone knows that that Sridevi was first offered the role of Sivagami in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali and this role was later played spectacularly well by Ramya Krishnan.

It must be noted that though Sridevi was quite interested in the role of Sivagami, the fee which she asked for was something the filmmakers were unwilling to pay and thus they opted for Ramya Krishnan instead.

The first trailer released, caused frenzy in the audience and the much eager fans of  Vijay few days back. After the Big Budget epic Baahubali the next most awaited movie to hit the theatres is Pilu. Pilu is acclaimed to be the whopping competitor of  Baahubali. Not even 24 hours had been completed before the teaser had crossed the two million mark on its views. Moreover, it has got 7.3 million hits on its official YouTube page till now. The trailer is released in three different languages which poses yet another challenge to Baahubali.

The Vijay starrer aims not only to break the records of  the avant-garde Baahubali  trailer in order to give it a stringent competition but it will also require to be critically acclaimed and in addition to that it will have to batter the Rajamouli directorial financially since it grossed five hundred and fifty crore worldwide at the box office.

All those PULI visuals look like a remix of Siddarth’s Anaganana O Dheerudu and Arya’s Varna, while the background art work and costumes give an impression of a video game, This film is hyped to be a stunning competitor for ‘Baahubali’ and expected to smash all the South Indian records. However there is not such a scene evident if we have to go by the trailer

the number of YouTube hits is not the measure of a film’s classic appeal

You judge a movie based on a trailer…how pathetic. You must be a north Indian or a person from some Andhra. The trailer is good better try to view the movie as a Indian movie and don’t give negative comment just becoz it’s a tamil film.

Baahubali is a worst remake of game of thrones, and you appreciate it. But simply criticising a movie with trailer.
Even the background score and music is fully copied from 300 and troy. I appreciate the uniqueness of the copycat tricks, you guys keep it so straight…
