Famous television, theatre and Bollywood actor Dalip Tahil has been currently seen playing a role in the new TV serial “Siya Ke Ram”. He plays the role of Raja Dashrath in the show, but the shocking thing about him which surprised everyone was his horse-riding skills while they were shooting for the serial in Darjeeling.
The show is going to be a mythological one, with Dalip been required to perform numerous horse-riding sequences to give a genuine look to his character. Thus with his passion of work,he made it clear that he will be riding the horse himself without taking anybody’s help, which he did outstandingly well. We all know that Raja Dashrath was very fond of riding and hunting. In a majority of sequences while shooting in Darjeeling, Dalip said that he had to ride on a horse and hunt along with that. He also added that he was extremely pumped up and excited for the shooting of horse riding.
Dalip who is presently 63 years old also said “My career has given me the privilege to ride a horse in the past and that certainly did come in handy. I actually got myself comfortable with the animal which eventually resulted in the scene getting complete within an hour.” He also said, “The sequence was rather an intense one and thanks to the support I had, I did manage to achieve the target and left my director smiling by the end of it.”
The “Welcome to Karachi” actor had done the horse-riding with ease. Along with that he also has a good understanding with the horse by feeding him, thereby getting familiar with the animal. The much awaited serial “Siya Ke Ram” will be aired on Star Plus, which also features other stars like Ashish Sharma, Madirakshi Mundle and Snigdha Akolkar.
