The new MiTV runs on a conventional version of Android 5.1 Lollipop. The TV is built up with an aluminum frame of 11.6mm and it seems the company has named it as the ‘flagship TV processor’.

With high-tech features and top-of-the-line video capability, the special feature of the TV constitutes of a 4K resolution that has a higher color gamut (tonal range) and incorporates MEMC motion compensation that helps in reducing the occurrence of blurring in fast moving on-screen scenes.

This video processing unit has the likes of a Cortex-A17 processor and a Mali T760 GPU that combines to deliver 4K 60fps hardware decoding. The device also features 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. The TV also offers various features that are apt for future expandability options.

The Mi TV 3 is going to be sold for 999 Yuan that is approximately equivalent to50,947 Indian rupees.It will be very fascinating to know about the final launch price if and when it reaches India.
